EB Advance LTD Liquid Lipstick Review

Will you still be surprised when you'll know that Ever Bilena produced their own liquid lipstick? Of course not! Last year, they came out with it from their EB Advance line. Check out my review here

But since more of us girls prefer matte finish lip product, Ever Bilena finally launched their LTD LIQUID LIPSTICK! LTD because according to them these are just limited edition.

The packaging is similar with their first liquid lipstick, the only difference is, the first one has a white cover and the LTDs cover are the same with the product color that makes it easier to identify its shade.

It comes in a twistable cap and has a doe foot applicator. The scent is almost alike but a bit stronger than that of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream. The product is very creamy and so pigmented. Since it is creamy and opaque, it sets for probably 3 to 5 minutes. Once completely set, it is kiss proof. It is true to its color so the color on the packaging is the same when you apply it on your lips. 

It comes in 12 shades but only 9 shades are out in the market as of the moment. Here are the 3 shades that I have

The feeling on the lips is quite lightweight but you can still feel that there is something because it has a slight tacky feeling which is normal to a matte finish liquid lipstick. It is long wearing until you eat oily food, It will also transfer and fades on the inner part of the lips. It will survive a meal but you'll be left with a "lip liner look" after the second meal.

If you will re-apply, I suggest that you remove the entire product before you put a new layer because if not, it will be patchy.

San San HD Creamy Matte Lip Stain

Hi Everyone! I am finally back to blogging again and I can't wait to share with you this new product from HBC.

There are a LOT of cosmetic products that are coming out in the market and I am so happy and excited that our local brands are stepping up their game and can actually keep up with the foreign brands.

Liquid lipsticks have been a trend...a BIG trend (actually) on 2016, Why? because most of them claims to be water proof, smudge proof and kiss proof! Who does'nt like that right? Most of them are also matte finish which most of us prefer for a lipstcik. And who will not get excited when our very own local brand also released their version of it?

San San Cosmetics, which is exclusively distributed by HBC came out with 

SAN SAN HD CREAMY MATTE LIP STAIN and I decided to try it out and share with you my thoughts about it.

Let's talk about the packaging first, it is housed in a transparent square tube with a metallic purple color cap. When you buy it, it is sealed with a plastic that contains all the information about the product such as ingredients, manufacturer as well as the expiration date. When you peel it off, the only thing that will be left are the brand and product name. The shade name is at the bottom of the tube.

Now, let's check out the swatches! I only got 5 shades but there are 12 shades available ranging from nudes to pink to reds and deep red and purple color.

You'll just twist the cap to open and it comes with a doe foot applicator. It has a sweet scent and very similar with the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream. Consistency is opaque and creamy, and it is also pigmented. I like that it is true to its color, meaning, the color of it on your lips is similar with the color on its transparent tube. Application is smooth because the product is creamy and it will set to a matte finish for about 2 to 3 minutes. It feels lightweight and doesn't have any tacky feeling. It also does not settle on the line of the lips so therefore it will not accentuate dryness if ever you have dry lips. And yes, it is kiss proof!

I love that it is not blotchy or patchy at all. It is also long wearing and whats very impressive about it is that, it is still intact even after eating.

Liquid lipsticks are known to be long lasting until you eat oily food, but what this product made me so impressed is that, it did not fade even when I ate an oily porkchop! Unlike other liquid lipstick that you need to remove the entire product if you will re-apply, this one just amazed me again because it was good as new when I apply the inner part of the lips ONLY! It was not blotchy at all!

REVIEW: San San Makeup Sponge VS Daiso Makeup Sponge

Hi Everyone!

This is my very first product review, so I am really excited and nervous at
the same time (hahaha). Every "firsts" give us these mixed feelings right? :)

Ever since I've been a makeup enthusiast, makeup brush is just the only tool I use to apply my foundation, but then, I thought, I should also be open for improvements.
Then I got curious with makeup sponge, I have read and watched so many raves about it, and how it will make your foundation application go to the next level. I then bought the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and it makes my foundation application experience like heaven!hahaha, However, it is quite expensive especially for a stay at home mom like me who has more things to be prioritized.

I have found two makeup sponges that are very affordable. The first one is from Daiso, and last week, I bought another one from San San. I thought that it would be better if I'll just do a kind of "face off" since they are the same type of product and they are both almost in the same price range. So, here is the comparison of the two products that might help you decide on which one to buy just in case you are interested to buy one for yourself.

* I used liquid foundation and cream concealer to really test the products if they can work on different texture and consistency

PACKAGING	It is just a plastic that you can’t re-use for storage purposes but it has a description and direction on how to use the product so it is very helpful for a beginner		You can still use the container for storage

SOFTNESS	It is so hard that it will hurt your face when you apply your foundation		It is very soft
APPLICATION	It was a struggle to apply the foundation because the sponge is really hard (even if it is already damp) especially on the cheekbones. It also can’t reach the under eye area and the sides of the nose because of the sponge's curve and the edge is not pointed enough. When I apply the foundation, it somehow wears off the product. I noticed that the sponge absorbs more of the product than the amount that should have been on my face.		It is very easy to apply because it is soft and since it has a pointed edge, certain areas such as the under eye and sides of the nose are easy to reach
FINISH	The finish is flawless but you really have to be patient to achieve that, it will take a lot of time and effort		The finish is really flawless, it is even comparable with the finish when I use the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge

For me, I'll settle with the makeup sponge from Daiso, its fine with me to add 18 pesos as long as I get a better quality. I'll definitely hoard
more of this baby!
